The special occasion was the pre wedding ceremony prior to the big event next year.
The team were up & about at the crack of dawn and were soon on the road heading to the event address in Cumbria. Once there the set up and food preparations were soon under way!
By 1pm the pig was wafting its usual glorious smells as the hog was temperature checked to confirm the roast had met the critical temperature and ready to serve. Once the green light was given, the salads were laid out and the carving began.
The hog roast was accompanied with a bowl of fresh green leaf, beef tomatoes with mozzarella & basil, home made potato salad, a special homemade vegan coleslaw, home made sage & onion stuffing and a quite amazing home made apple sauce.
The weather was dull, wet and miserable however all the guests were very upbeat with the drinks and conversation both flowing well. Many of the guests had travelled from Blackpool for the occasion, some even travelling down from Glasgow. It was a super day for both the guests and the catering team, even with the weather trying its best to spoil things!
